The Immersive Learning Hub by The Spectrum Place is a UK-first educational experience designed for schools, alternative provision, SEND learners, Pupil Premium pupils, parents, carers, and home educators — and it’s now open at Xscape Milton Keynes. This is not a traditional school trip. It is a hands-on, fully immersive learning adventure where children and young people explore five curriculum subjects in one visit — through curiosity, movement, discovery, and play. What Makes This Immersive Learning Experience Different? The Immersive Learning Hub brings learning to life using interactive environments, sensory-rich spaces, and experiential activities. Instead of worksheets and pressure, learners engage through doing, exploring, and asking questions. In just one visit, learners cover: History Science Geography STEM Cross-curricular skills (literacy, teamwork, enquiry, communication) All sessions are UK curriculum-aligned and adaptable for different ages, abilities, and learning styles. Explore the Five Fully Immersive Zones 🏺 Ancient Egypt Step back in time to explore tombs, uncover artefacts, dig for relics, and learn about Ancient Egysive Learning Hub by The Spectrum Place offers a UK-first, immersive and hands-on learning experience now open at Xscape Milton Keynes. In a single visit, pupils step into Ancient Egypt, explore Dinosaurs and Geology, investigate Planet Earth and its Biomes, travel through Space, and experience a 360° Planetarium Cinema. Every zone is interactive, curriculum-aligned, and designed to bring learning to life through movement, exploration, and curiosity — not worksheets or pressure. Crucially, the Hub is built for all children. Sessions are inclusive and adaptable, supporting SEND and Pupil Premium pupils alongside mainstream learners. Teachers consistently see higher engagement, calmer behaviour, and pupils who struggle in the classroom becoming confident, curious participants. Cancellation Policy
Walk-Through Experience Booking Policy This policy is designed to ensure a safe, inclusive, and enjoyable experience for all visitors, including families, SEND visitors, and other community groups. 1. Supervision & Age Requirements Children and young people under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times. The supervising adult is responsible for the behaviour, safety, and wellbeing of those in their care throughout the visit, any damages caused must be covered by responsible party. 2. Behaviour & Conduct We aim to provide a welcoming, respectful, and safe environment for all. Violence, aggressive behaviour, harassment, discrimination, or any unwanted behaviour will not be tolerated. Visitors who behave in a way that compromises the safety, comfort, or enjoyment of others may be asked to leave without refund. 3. Inclusion, Accessibility & SEND The experience is suitable for families, SEND visitors, and individuals with additional needs. We strive to be inclusive and accommodating; however, visitors or carers are encouraged to consider sensory content (lighting, sound, projections) before booking. Carers and support workers are welcome to accompany visitors who require assistance, we are unable to offer free access as a charity we must cover our staff costs. 4. Planetarium & 360° Films 360° planetarium films are subject to availability and may vary depending on the day, time, technical requirements, or operational constraints. Film content, duration, and scheduling may change without prior notice. Access to planetarium experiences is guaranteed but film choice isn't optional unless explicitly stated in the booking confirmation. 5. Health & Safety Visitors must follow all staff instructions, signage, and safety guidance at all times. Running, climbing on equipment, or misuse of installations is not permitted. The experience may include low lighting, projections, or sound effects that could affect some visitors. 6. Bookings & Capacity Entry is subject to capacity limits to ensure comfort and safety. Late arrivals may result in reduced experience time or denied entry. We reserve the right to amend opening times, content, or access for operational or safety reasons. 7. Right to Refuse Entry Management reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any individual or group who does not comply with this policy. By booking or attending, visitors agree to abide by this Booking Policy.
