Service Description

MindJam Community Spaces is a pioneering initiative dedicated to promoting mindfulness, emotional regulation, creativity, and social interaction among neurodivergent young people, those with special educational needs (SEN), and those suffering with mental health issues. We support communities and businesses to create designated sensory spaces equipped with gaming consoles, cozy games, music apps, and drawing apps. These spaces provide young people with a safe and inclusive environment to relax, express themselves creatively, and engage in positive social interaction. Additionally, MindJam Community offers free training and mentorship programs for community members, and professionals to better support the well-being of young people. Through collaboration with games developers, tech companies, and digital design companies, we seek to promote a better understanding of the benefits of gameplay for young people and their well-being. MindJam Community is committed to fostering social cohesion, community understanding, and the holistic development of young people both within educational spaces and throughout the wider community.
